Made by stamping an 1800s carved seal with 'mottos' in French, Italian, Latin or English on to gold. A rectangular disc in gold with satin finish that will turn shiny over time features an image of hands in the sky, each holding a piece of the tie that binds them together. Word surrounding the image in French: “Plus Loin Plus Serré” which translates to ‘the further apart the tighter the bond.’ Far apart, close at heart… You and me together and never apart, maybe in distance, but never in heart. On the reverse, a Knight with the French phrase “Paix Ou Guerre” (‘Peace or War’). Handcrafted in Los Angeles.
